BORROWING POWER CALCULATOR

INSTRUCTIONS

This calculator is only a guide.  It is designed to help you work out your borrowing power based on your current financial position.  The calculation uses your Debt Servicing Ratio which is found by dividing your total monthly repayments by your total monthly income.  Most lending institutions will lend to a maximum ratio of 40%, with a 2% loading on loan rates, however you should check with your own institution for specific requirements.
